I have a standard Aroma branded kettle. It turns on, boils water like a good kettle should. My lady friend was interested in one of her own for her quickly growing tea drinking habit. Ended up deciding on this particular unit because it goes one step further and pinpoints the correct temperature for a given tea leaf (or any beverage for that matter). Dialing in the temperature is a no brainer. Operation couldn't be simpler. As a bonus, there is a pretty snazzy multicolor LED that lights up while the unit is in operation. Very impressed overall. I will surely be picking one up for myself.
